Held each year the weekend prior to Easter, the Trailer Boat Fishing Tournament has grown to be amongst the most popular family fishing tournaments in Australia while staying true to its original ideal of making anglers of all ages and skill levels welcome. These days, you can expect to join around 1300 competitors and 500 boats to compete for over $100,000 in species and lucky draw prizes. Port Stephens Outrigger Challenge
Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th March

Athletes and competitors from all over New South Wales and Australia will converge on the pristine waters of Port Stephens, to contest the Port Stephens Outrigger Challenge. While a relatively young sport in Australia, outrigger canoeing is also one of the fastest growing water sports in Australia. It attracts competitors of all ages, but particularly those in the 30 years and over age group, as a low impact adventure sport. shoal Bay is the place to be for spectators.
